Middle School Programs
As skills and spirit are mastered, Middle School players should plan a twice a week Ultimate work-out. Choose one of these days to play after school, and plan to attend the Friday Neighborhood Scrimmage at Fulmore as your second work-out.
Middle School Work-outs for our spring season:
We will play Ultimate from 3:45 - 5:30 on THURSDAY Afternoons on the Barton Hills Playground from February 16 - March 29, 2012.
The Fulmore Club will meet on TUESDAY AND FRIDAY afternoons beginning January 17th, 2012. We meet at the corner of Mary and S. Congress from 3:45 - 5:15.
Tuesday afternoons we will play at STACY PARK.
All players (9 - 13) are invited to play a
Community Scrimmage on
Friday afternoons from
4:00 - 6:00 pm at Fulmore Middle School beginning February 24, 2012.
We play ULTIMATE on the field inside the track at the corner of S. Congress Ave and Mary Streets.
Please bring a light and dark shirt, a refillable water bottle, and wear a good pair of shoes.

After School Ultimate Programs
Ultimate is a non-contact, highly aerobic, self-regulated team sport, played with a flying disc.
Ultimate is highly cardiovascular and will initiate development of personal physical fitness.
All boys and girls aged 8-14 are invited to join the Ultimate Fun.
Participants will learn the rules and physical skills of Ultimate Frisbee and will practice the responsibility of self-regulation.
Students will receive a nutrition lesson and a healthy snack each week.
Through the support of a government grant, and in cooperation withActiveLIFE, elementary players will learn social and physical skills of the sport of Ultimate and the Spirit of the Game . Fifth grade boys and girls will will meet after school for three hours, in association with through the GET READY FOR COLLEGE PROGRAM . One day a week will be devoted Ultimate Instruction. Thanks to the kids at Travis Heights for developing this Ultimate Brochure. ActiveLIFE AfterSchool Mentors are being hired to fill these coaching positions at LANGFORD Elementary (Monday), WOOTEN Elementary (Tuesday), BROWN Elementary (Thursday) and HART Elementary (Friday).
Players MUST be students on these campuses in grade 5. Those Students must register for the Active LIFE program which requires students to stay after school everyday for a three hour instructional session.

Boys and Girls (in third through sixth grades) are invited to join any group that is meeting after school on various AISD Elementary School Playgrounds to PLAY Ultimate!
Registration in now open. Send the completed registration form to the above address. Checks should be made payable to Texas, Ultimate! Classes will fill at 20 players.

TRAVIS HEIGHTS ELEMENTARY
The Travis Heights Ultimate Club will meet on TUESDAY Afternoons from 3:00 pm-4:00 pm at Big Stacy Park. The club meets January 31 - March 6, 2012.
Players MUST be students at THES in grades 3-5. Those Students must register for the PRIMETIME program called Travis Heights Ultimate
Travis Heights Students should e-mail Krista Ernst to enroll in this program.
Players are learning the skills and spirit of Ultimate in association with a College Readiness program with the cooperation and support of ActiveLIFE and a government grant. Fifth grader boys and girls will will meet after school one day a week at HART Elementary, ROWAN Elementary, BROWN Elementary and WOOTEN Elementary.

Inviting all Coaches, Captains, Sponsors, Parents, and Players to PLAY, Ultimate! to get some exercise, and honor the Rev. Martin Luther King on a school holiday. There is no cost for this event, but we need to let your parents know that you are playing. Player Waiver. Please bring this waiver with you when you come to join us.
PLAYERS OF ALL AGES ARE INVITED TO ENJOY THE DAY
We will meet 2:30pm to warm-up and play ULTIMATE!. We have the field reserved until dark. We will meet at the East Side Community Field owned by Hollywood Henderson. It is the site of AISD's Original Anderson High and presently houses the East Boys and Girls Club.

Off Campus Physical Education (OCPE)

We fill our coaching, teaching and sponsor positions with volunteers. WE maintain this Agreement with the ;school district to provide instruction on AISD campuses. Some are rewarded with a fixed stipend, if attendance requirements are met.
All Coaches must: be at least 18 years of age,
pass an AISD (FBI fingerprinted) background check.
or, be a certified AISD employee)
hold a current CPR certification,
attend a three-hour training session.
Coaches credentials must be filed with the AISD no later than the last day of classes during the fall semester.
THIS SEMESTER'S TRAINING SESSION WILL BE HELD on MLK DAY, a school holiday.

Please, let us know if you will attend early (2:30 -5:30pm), or the late (5:30 -8:30pm) session on MLK Day. The training session will be held at he community field owned by Hollywood Henderson. It is the original site of AISD's Anderson High. The address is 901 Thompson Street.
