After School Ultimate Programs Ultimate is a non-contact, highly aerobic, self-regulated team sport, played with a flying disc. Ultimate is highly cardiovascular and will initiate development of personal physical fitness. All boys and girls aged 8-14 are invited to join the Ultimate Fun. Participants will learn the rules and physical skills of Ultimate Frisbee and will practice the responsibility of self-regulation. Students will receive a nutrition lesson and a healthy snack each week. All Ultimate neighbors are invited to a weekly Community Scrimmage on Friday afternoons from 5:00 - 6:30 pm at Fulmore Middle School. Boys and Girls in 5th grade through 8th grade are invited to join the pick-up games beginning February 10th, 2010. There will be NO meeting on Friday, March 19th (AISD Spring Break) We play ULTIMATE on the field inside the track at the corner of S. Congress Ave and Mary Streets. Please bring a refillable water bottle, and wear a good pair of shoes. Written permission is required of players who do not attend Fulmore Middle School. THERE is NO COST to attend the SCRIMMAGE. Elementary Ultimate The Spring 2010 Session will begin the SECOND week in February. Boys and Girls (in third through sixth grades) will meet weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Afternoons at various Elementary Schools in the 78704 area to PLAY Ultimate! Bring the completed form with payment to the first day of class. Checks should be made payable to Texas, Ultimate! BARTON HILLS ELEMENTARY Boys and Girls in 3rd grade through 6th grade are invited to join the Barton Hills Ultimate Club. which meets at Barton Hills Elementary School from 2:45 - 4:15 pm on Thursday afternoons , beginning on February 18, 2010 Barton Hills Registration Form NO meeting on Thursday, March 18th. ZILKER ELEMENTARY Boys and Girls in 3rd grade through 5th grade are invited to join the Zilker Ultimate Club . The Club will meet on WEDNESDAY afternoons at Zilker Elementary School from 2:45-4:00pm February 17-March 24th, 2010. To participate , each player must complete the Zilker Player Registration Form NO meeting on Wednesday, March 17th. TRAVIS HEIGHTS ELEMENTARY The Travis Heights Ultimate Club will meet on TUESDAY Afternoons from 3:00 pm-4:00 pm at Big Stacy Park. The club meets from February 2- March 9, 2010. LINDER ELEMENTARY The Linder Ultimate Club will meet on MONDAY Afternoons from 3:00 pm-4:00 pm on their campus. The club meets from February 25- March 29, 2010 ( no meeting the week of Spring break, March 15) Players MUST be students at LINDER in grades 3-5.
