Please join the communication list if you are developing a club/team in your school or community. The purpose of this list is to provide communication among team leaders so that they may prepare for upcoming events. We encourage regular pick-up and recruitment in the fall. We will strive to host a drafted winter league for high school players We hope to inspire players, parents and teachers to develop teams in their communities to participate in an annual city wide tournament, which will be held in March. DFW City Tournament Plan to play a one day tournament on MARCH 12, 2011. Reserve a spot for your team by contacting the DFW High School Coordinator, Tim Records. TEAM REGISTRATION TEAM CAPTAINS should complete a Team Application. , prior to March 1, 2011. In cooperation with the Dallas Ultimate Association (DUA), High School Teams are invited to participate in a day long event. Captains should submit a Team Roster. Each player should complete the Player Waiver. Individual players will be accepted and added to teams. Games will be held at Pearce High School in Richardson, TX. Players should plan to arrive at 8:15 am and be ready to play at 9am. We will PLAY ULTIMATE on March 12, 2011 beginning at 9am. Details of the day are presented on this Tournament Flyer , which should be distributed to coaches, parents and players prior to travel. Captains may check their team in beginning at 8:15 am A group warm-up begins at 9:00am. PLEASE submit a team application prior to March 1, 2011 We will accept school rosters with a maximum of 12 players Our goal is to allow to develop team strategy and fitness to participate in the STATE tournament in mid-April. Teams with a roster of more than 12 players should divide the roster to allow ALL player maximum play time through out the day. Up to 8 teams will be accepted to participate in this one day event! FALL Hat Tournament DFW HS players are encouraged to attend a one day event in Grand Prairie. The fall is for recruiting and teaching new players in preparation for a competitive season in the spring. Please plan to attend if you are a new player, or a player who is willing to mentor new players in learning the skills and spirit of the game. Event: Hat Tournament for College and High School Players. Time: 10am - 3pm Cost: $5/person! Morning snacks will be provided (Bagels, fruit ect.. will be provided. Bring another $5 as Chick-Fil-A available for purchase at lunch. Our organization is supporting youth development all across the LONE STAR STATE. In attempt to equate exposure and formalize competition, The league guidelines for all TEXAS HIGH SCHOOLS are presented HERE in a .pdf document. This document is helpful in getting clubs recognized on campuses. Please read the entire document, and print it to submit to your administrators, coaches and faculty sponsors. MORE schools participating in UltimateSpirit events is a very good thing!

Hat Tournament and Youth Clinic ALL Players aged 9-17 years of age are invited to participate on February 12th, 2011 beginning at 9am PLEASE Complete registration paperwork PRIOR to FEBRUARY 5, 2011 and mail it to: Texas, Ultimate! Players will register individually, at a minimal cost. CLINIC REGISTRATION Simultaneously, we will host a skills clinic and hat tournament for families and youth aged 7-17 years. Younger players should plan to participate in Ultimate Activites from 10 am-1pm. Parents are encouraged to join in! After a brief instructional period in the skills and spirit of Ultimate, we will organize a round robin hat tournament equating teams with parents and players of all ages. To participate, send $5 and a completed registration for each player who will participate (not parents) to Texas, Ultimate! ALL participants must complete the Clinic Registration Form and have the signature of a parent or guardian before they are permitted to participate.
